For an indian restaurant, this place is immaculate. Quite often they're poorly lit and a bit grubby but not Abdul's. It was bright and spotless. The food was generally excellent too, with a couple of exceptions.The chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection and were delicious.However, I thought the tarka dahl was thin and runny and more like soup. Absolutely amazing food and service at Abdul’s spice. We were craving Indian cuisine and was totally blown away. The most delicious food, with spices taken and grinded from local villages to the owner. The atmosphere was very calm and pleasant too. Lastly, the service we got from one of the servers Husayn was some of the best we have encountered. He was beyond helpful and kind and exchanged great and interesting conversation. We were on holiday in the area and got a takeaway from here. Ordered via the web site and it was ready at the time stated, very polite but most importantly, the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the meal and would be back for more if we were local!
