1st visit, passing through. Sunday lunch. Excellent value and good variety of veg, roasties, y pud etc. Roast pork and roast beef tasty. Nice cider. Very friendly and helpful young woman with a trainee. Clean toilets with free feminine hygiene products, impressive! The pub itself needs a bit of a tidy up and new decor bit wld still recommend for a, warm welcome and good food.

It had a give star rating for cleanliness on the door as you enter the building. I was impressed by the service friendliness and lovely atmosphere of the pub. They do rooms but I didn't partake. The service was quick professional and switched on. Parking could be an issue if your disabled but there are a few spaces outside or with blue badge park on yellow lines outside. Easy to find smack in the middle of the town
