6, Courtyard Terrace, Church St, Chirk, WrexhamHad a really great meal last night. I had the Chicken Tikka Persian Wrap with Mayo and Hummous. Absolutely delicious, and didn't need to order chips as a side as the wrap was plenty big enough. Service was great and attentive and not too pricey either. Will definitely go back as the menu is pretty extensive.

Stanton House Inn
Holyhead Rd, Chirk, WrexhamLocal fantastic, friendly pub with great food and brilliant staff. I moored up again this year and had friends with me and had no hesitation in suggesting we visit the pub because we have always been welcomed by staff and the locals.
I arrived a bit early ahead of my friends and there was a young lady on her first day being trained by another colleague, I had met the owner on a previous occasion so I know that she will be trained in the same way.

The Bridge Inn
Chirk Bank, Weston Rhyn, WrexhamThis pub is like a step back in time. It's not modern or smart in any way but it is clean and friendly and scores 10/10 for views over the valley to the viaduct and aquaduct. Well worth doing the loop through the town and to the castle. A whole days visit if you do all these.

Chirk Marina
Chirk Rd, Chirk, WrexhamChirk Marina / Black Prince Chirk and all their guys are fabulous! We had an issue with our ex black prince boat (unsurprising considering her age) and not only did Liam and the guys sort out the problem but they helped with lots of other minor tweaks too. They really did go that extra bit and were so cheerful and helpful throughout. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Caffi Wylfa
Castle Rd, Chirk, WrexhamExceptional experience! We were filming our NFTS graduation film locally to Chirk and wanted to work with local businesses. Chris from Caffi Wylfa was happy to cover our catering for the entire cast and crew (60-70+ per day). The food was insanely delicious (ranging from chicken curry, to ploughmans, to delicious fresh sandwiches). All food was delivered fresh, crew were beaming with smiles the entire time! There were no issues and they met all dietary requirements we needed. I cannot stress enough how lovely an experience it was using Caffi Wyfla for our shoot. Would highly recommend to anyone, even if based a little further from Wrexham area. Thank you again, Caffi Wylfa!
