A fabulous find ! We headed to the Bistro as it was the only place open on a Monday, and we were absolutely delighted with the food and service. The Persian Flatbreads were absolutely amazing: great portion size, flavoursome and interesting. I'd definitely head back here when next in Chirk, in fact I'd probably head to Chirk because of the Castle Bistro!
Well deserving of 5 stars!

Local fantastic, friendly pub with great food and brilliant staff. I moored up again this year and had friends with me and had no hesitation in suggesting we visit the pub because we have always been welcomed by staff and the locals.

I arrived a bit early ahead of my friends and there was a young lady on her first day being trained by another colleague, I had met the owner on a previous occasion so I know that she will be trained in the same way.

This pub is like a step back in time. It's not modern or smart in any way but it is clean and friendly and scores 10/10 for views over the valley to the viaduct and aquaduct. Well worth doing the loop through the town and to the castle. A whole days visit if you do all these.

FANTASTIC MARINA
Hired a boat from here called Julia what a fantastic experience the guys here are absolutely brilliant. Big shout out to Gordon who gave us some great advice on boating and helped with getting boat out and in the marina a pleasant experience from start to finish would highly recommend hiring a about from here you will not be disappointed. thanks again guys ???

What a welcoming cafe! We stopped for a cappuccino, which was perfect. The cake selection looked amazing. The free car park outside is great. Highly recommend- we will definitely be going back.
