Was staying locally last year and came here to shelter from the rain. Remember how lovely the staff were and the cake being delicious.
Yesterday whilst back in the area, I called by to get a takeaway sandwich and cake. It was just as lovely as the first time. I will always recommend this place and if I’m back in the area again will be sure to visit.

Great pub and art gallery. Beer is always excellent with very good prices. Kevin's art is wonderful hung around the walls and the pool table and darts are always popular.

What a find!! Just off the Glendwr way. Opening time 4pm. I had anticipated poor real ale if any at all and only fizzy keg beer. Ye of little faith!! This was NOT what I found! The place is undisturbed by new fangled 'upgrades' and the beer was excellent. Some cherry locals 1 pint down by 4.15. No messing in Wales. The bar man was chatty and welcoming.

We were holidaying in here up at Ceunant cottage just up the road and one evening decided on the way home from a day out to stop in for tea, me, my wife, mu boys and the dog (who incidently won herself a little rosette at the village show!) Anyway, to the food, BRILLIANT!! TASTY!! HOT!! PLENTIFUL!! QUICK!! and the lovely lady who served us was an absolute delight. Thank you so much for making our lovely day out at the beach, even lovelier. Please see my picture, I had a very good and generously presented gammon steak.

Fantastic, friendly pub and B&B. Food is superb, staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions. Rooms are high quality. Highly recommend The Slater's Arms.
