Prince Of Wales
High St, CricciethWe ate here twice during our stay in Criccieth. The food is delicious, all appears to be home cooked, between 9 of us we sampled, steak, lasagne, cottage pie, gammon and the wonderful steak pie everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff were friendly and attentive, all in all a very pleasant experience.

Tir a Môr
1-3 Mona Terrace, CricciethWe had the full Welsh breakfast. It was good quality produce ??and the latte' was actually served piping hot, which for some reason is a rarity in some cafe's.
Clean and well run cafe'. Toilets were clean.

Bryn Hir Arms
24 High St, CricciethLove this pub -it's a proper 'drinkers' pub, no airs and graces just good beer and friendly staff. Has the usual line-up of keg drinks and 2 bitters on hand-pump -Nefyn Brewery's Seithenyn (my favourite) and Reverend James. Well worth a visit - Sian the landlady is lovely

Castle Fish & Chip Shop.
5 Castle St, CricciethVisited here today specifically for the fish and chips. We absolutely love the quality of the fish and chips here. We think it's got to be the best in North Wales. Pure white fish, crispy batter and fluffy in the middle chips. All cooked freshly to order which is what we prefer anyway. The only disappointment was no haddock but cod was an acceptable substitute. Always come here when we holiday in Wales. Will be back again next holiday.

Idris Cafe
60 High St, CricciethHadn’t been to Criccieth for years. Definitely peckish, so popped in and chose a well filled ham and salad bap. Delicious with a packet of ready salted crisps (most sandwich/bap makers don’t add salt).
Staff were friendly and attentive and being Welsh, I enjoyed the experience immensely.

Swn-y-Mor
Lon Felin, CricciethStopped here yesterday for lunch . Opted for the Welsh Rarebit with 2 x slices of grilled bacon and Welsh onion marmalade. Served on granary bread accompanying by a flat white coffee. Absolutely first class. Cooked to perfection. Never had this dish offered with the optional bacon and onion marmalade. These two simple extras transformed it for me. This is a lovely friendly cafe, is doggie friendly. Large outside elevated seating area overlooking the sea. We will definitely visit again on our next visit to Criccieth. I suggest you do as well. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Moelwyn Restaurant and B&B
27-29 Mona Terrace, CricciethStill here but felt I might leave a review. Stephen and Jo are absolutely lovely people, warm, genuine and friendly. Massive bed, comfortable sea view room, great location for tourism with loads to see all in easy drive times. Got a great tip for a rainy day too should there be one. Ask Stephen about it ?. I'd have no hesitation to book here again because of all of the above, and the price for four days just over £200. Can't quibble at that.
Very close to some smashing pubs too.

Cadwaladers
The Iris, Castle St, CricciethWe visit here a couple of times a year for the best ice cream North Wales has to offer (in our opinion) but more recently me and my son fancied eating inside and enjoying the view of Criccieth beach. The evening was drawing in and the staff appeared to be tidying up after a busy day, but they couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind to us, offering us the best seats in the house and some hot food. FYI - Cadwaladers isn’t just for great ice cream…the toasties, the milk shakes, and the coffee are equally as impressive, but the staff take the top marks! Diolch ♥️

Spice Bank
Old bank building, 39 High St, CricciethThis has to be the worst ever lamb passanda that I’ve tasted like tomato sauce with mutton not lamb. It used to be exceptionally good there but not now 8/8/25. The ‘royal’ buna was a similar effort, mutton, chicken and one small prawn…. We won’t be supporting this local as we have been
