Restaurants in Criccieth
Poachers Restaurant
66-68 High St, CricciethAs always, the food was delicious and perfectly cooked, and rhe staff warm and friendly. The festive platter was a real treat, and the brandy cream sauce with the Christmas Pudding was exquisite.\nMy only minor disappointment was the spiciness of the pea soup, but that is entirely a matter of personal preference, and nothing to do with the quality of the food.

Tir a Môr
1-3 Mona Terrace, CricciethWe've been regulars for several years now and i thought it was time to repay the owners and staff with a top review that they fully deserve. The owners and staff are so friendly on arrival with a choice of ground level eating or a spacious and comfy upstairs room that is bathed in natural light with views across cricieth square and down towards the sea front.\nWith a great selection of dishes i'd say there is something to keep everyone happy and the quality and value is excellent.when the weather permits they have ample outside seating with a little more shelter than the seafront cafes .\nCan't reccomend them enough 5 stars

Prince Of Wales
High St, CricciethWe ate here twice during our stay in Criccieth. The food is delicious, all appears to be home cooked, between 9 of us we sampled, steak, lasagne, cottage pie, gammon and the wonderful steak pie everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff were friendly and attentive, all in all a very pleasant experience.

Castle Fish & Chip Shop.
5 Castle St, CricciethPassing through Criccieth in the campervan we fancied a snack. The area quiet but the lunchtime buzz at the chippy made me want to try their fayre. Great prices, the freshly cooked fish looked amazing, I will save that for next time. Friendly service and piping hot chips and curry sauce. Potatoes that tasted like they should too. Looking forward to returning soon.

Idris Cafe
60 High St, CricciethHadn’t been to Criccieth for years. Definitely peckish, so popped in and chose a well filled ham and salad bap. Delicious with a packet of ready salted crisps (most sandwich/bap makers don’t add salt).
Staff were friendly and attentive and being Welsh, I enjoyed the experience immensely.

Swn-y-Mor
Lon Felin, CricciethStopped here yesterday for lunch . Opted for the Welsh Rarebit with 2 x slices of grilled bacon and Welsh onion marmalade. Served on granary bread accompanying by a flat white coffee. Absolutely first class. Cooked to perfection. Never had this dish offered with the optional bacon and onion marmalade. These two simple extras transformed it for me. This is a lovely friendly cafe, is doggie friendly. Large outside elevated seating area overlooking the sea. We will definitely visit again on our next visit to Criccieth. I suggest you do as well. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bryn Hir Arms
24 High St, CricciethLove this pub -it's a proper 'drinkers' pub, no airs and graces just good beer and friendly staff. Has the usual line-up of keg drinks and 2 bitters on hand-pump -Nefyn Brewery's Seithenyn (my favourite) and Reverend James. Well worth a visit - Sian the landlady is lovely

Moelwyn Restaurant and B&B
27-29 Mona Terrace, CricciethStill here but felt I might leave a review. Stephen and Jo are absolutely lovely people, warm, genuine and friendly. Massive bed, comfortable sea view room, great location for tourism with loads to see all in easy drive times. Got a great tip for a rainy day too should there be one. Ask Stephen about it ?. I'd have no hesitation to book here again because of all of the above, and the price for four days just over £200. Can't quibble at that.
Very close to some smashing pubs too.

Spice Bank
Old bank building, 39 High St, CricciethThe best Indian food I’ve had for years - one of our party is a big fan of Indian food so we ate there twice during our visit to Criccieth. The Bangladeshi dish with 18 spices deserves a special mention - loads of taste without being fiercely hot. Very generous portions, too. Lovely staff.
