Asked google to direct us to the nearest pub that served food while on the way home, so glad we did this is a gem of a place, food was brilliant and really good value, two of the chefs specials had unfortunately finished due to being late in the afternoon that's to me is proof of its popularity, my fish'n chips was the best I've had in a long time, staff was friendly and very efficient, Highly recommended will definitely be back.

Restaurant peaceful, bright and welcoming as usual. First time visiting for us on a Friday night for tea, having read some good reviews. The main bar area was lively and the regulars were friendly when we walked in. We sat in the lounge to eat (Fish and Chips and Vege Lasagne), and the food was fantastic. Staff were friendly and we have to give a special mention to Ella, her service was fantastic. A real credit to you.
