Came here as a party of two. Friendly service although some of the staff were a little confused on my questions on the workings of the cafe - self service or no self self service, etc. so there was a delay in ordering our meals, cutlery and so forth. Arrived at 4pm for fish and chips when the cafe was quiet with only 2 customers in. I gave my usual favourite table number which was one of 3 by the window overlooking the car park, when I ordered my meal, but when I got to it I found that it had not been cleared and cleaned, along with 3 other tables, and which remained uncleared during my 1 hour visit. Annoying, as other customers who arrived had to divert to other clean tables when they realised they could not sit by the window....read full review

Such a shame that this place has gone down hill so quickly! The staff are rude and there's not enough of them. We visited as a family for a meal and there was one person on so they weren't doing any hot food but weren't told until we got to the till already poured our drinks which meant we had to pay for them!! Also the one person who was on needs a customer service refresher
