Cyffylliog, RuthinJust been here for food and honestly cannot rate it enough! Huge portion sizes, freshly cooked, piping hot and a huge option! Friendly staff and served with a smile :) we had the burger and the fish, WOW! Phenomenal food! We will definitely be back!!

The SugarPlum Tearoom Old Station, Rhewl, RuthinWith a tired and emotional toddler with additional needs, your heart is always in your mouth as you walk into an unfamiliar establishment, but even when our little shouted rather loudly at the lady on the front desk, and then shouted through us trying to order with our lovely waitress, we were made to feel so welcome and valued as customers. We were approaching the end of our holiday in Ruthin and after a lovely stay, but with its own challenges due to the amount of change, we were looking to enjoy a nice coffee and cake whilst little man got some toddler fuel, and we were so happy to have landed on The Sugar Plum Tearoom after reading it as recommended in the guest book of our caravan. Two delicious coffees, a custard cream blondie, a tiramisu brownie and and a children’s breakfast came to a reasonable price, was delivered to table super fast and the waitresses were attentive to our requests to make our experience as smooth as possible for everyone! We really enjoyed our visit and are so grateful for how valued and welcome we were made to feel- we will be back if we’re in the area! Emma, Chris and Dougie xx
