We have walked past this pub countless times as we often visit Fishguard. It was very busy last Saturday so we needed a calm quiet beer garden so we gave the old coach house a try. I can’t believe we’ve ignored this little gem until now. Lovely staff, reasonably priced delicious food and drinks. The outside area was sheltered, very clean and a real effort had been made to have some flower displays. Definitely coming back and can’t wait to try Sunday lunch

What a place to eat and drink in, friendly staff and really good food, with the added bonus of being pet friendly.We turned up, not even sure we could take the dog in. Once we sat down and browsed the menu, we both decided to have the Sunday roast. The staff instantly told me that, unfortunately, they had run out of the vegetarian option (no waiting while I waited for details on what was available). Came here 4 years ago and again today, safe to say that although the menu may have changed, the quality of the food has not. The food here is absolutely gorgeous and the portion sizes are fantastic value for the money. It's a 2 and half hour journey from where I live and I am happy to travel that distance just for their food!Kid-friendliness: Has a couple of highchairs and a baby changing station in the disabled toilet
