So pleased we are the 1st TA review ? of 2023. After trying 2 times to visit it was 3rd time lucky , the paddlers return is what it is , lots of memorabilia, a rustic decor , we ordered 2 full breakfasts washed down with mugs of coffee ( free refills ) . Penny the chef ?? russled us up 2 hearty breakfasts just what the doctor ordered. We loved our brief visit to the Paddlers Return we will spread the word and we will be back.
Great food and beer, fairly priced. Lovely staff. I almost always meet old and new paddling friends there. Because the food is cooked to order and The Paddlers is small and personal, service can get slower if it's very busy - so settle in for some good craic and another Snowdonia Ale while you wait.

lovely relaxed atmosphere in this licensed cafe on a campsite and very good food, large portions too. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices reasonable. Really can't fault it. The campsite was a different matter, one of the worst I've ever been to. So stay somewhere else but pop into the cafe, they deserve your business.
