Lovely sunday dinner here with fabulous service. I can’t fault any of the staff, they were extremely friendly and so welcoming. Real traditional Welsh pub which is a lovely atmosphere to walk in to. On a sunday it seemed to get quite busy, so would definitely recommend booking a table!
What a fabulous pub the Red Lion is. We were recommended to go there for our 45th wedding anniversary meal. The food was out of this world , the garlic mushrooms were the finest we have ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Ring to make a reservation is essential, Highly recommend the Red Lion.

I’ve just enjoyed the best Sunday lunch that I’ve had for years !The food was hot , fresh and cooked to perfection.I was also absolutely delighted, to find that the pork was served with crackling !!!Served on hot plates , another bonus !!The staff are friendly and attentive, always checking that diners are happy.I have been there many times for meals, but never Sunday lunch .Everything was perfect !Thank you so much for a very pleasant afternoon.☘️
