Had a lovely evening here.Food was delicious highly recommend the chicken and bacon enchiladas.My husband had a Steak pie & my son had a burger all was beautifully presented.It was a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was full so sat in the main bar in a lovely old inglenook fireplace that has been made into seating.The barman said we were welcome to use the snug as the fire was lit but we were very happy where we were.Will definitely return a lovely friendly pub.

I have only had the food here, but it was exquisite!Made me feel like I need to come back one day and try everything, it was so fresh and beautifully made! London food is put to shame, really and truly.Horlicks Brulé with a lemon shortbread biscuit. I've had a proper french Crème Brulé before, but I do have a sweet tooth. We weren't sure what to expect when walking into the pub as it didn't look as we expected, and then at the bar we were told the restaurant was closed due to a flood and we had to sit in the bar. But the food was amazing!! It was great value for money, nicely presented and tasted really good. I can highly recommend going for a meal here.The Horlicks creme brulee was a real treat! And we would return for that alone.
