The room was nice and spacious. Had the lovely European quality vibe with the tiled bathroom and wooden floors. I really appreciate the detailed touches like the room themes, so lovely decorated with a really good taste.
The bed was big and very comfortable.
Shower gel smelled lovely. Huge soft towels.
There were a fan, hairdryer, kettle, ironboard - everything you may need for a short stay and more.
Plenty of space in the wardrobes.
Huge parking, plenty of seating areas inside and out.
Everything was spotless clean and truly beautifully decorated with flowers. Deliscious breakfast, strong fresh coffee.
Brilliant service from the moment we arrived till we left. Very friendly and attentive.
I'm so happy I chose this place for our 10th anniversary with my husband. The card and a Prosecco was such a sweet and personal gesture ?❤️?

89 Rhosmaen St, LlandeiloTHE BEST Sunday lunch in the wider Llandeilo area. We’ve been trying out all the local Sunday offerings and after 3 visits to the Gwili they are consistently the best. Lovely people too. Bryan would be proud. August 2025.

The White Horse
125 Rhosmaen St, LlandeiloGreat pub ,unbelievable service ,literally put a pint down and the bar staff were ready for the next !!our dogs Albert and Rodney have never been so well looked after, especially Rodney who's a young one the staff looked after him so well ,never been to a pub so friendly staff and locals welcomed us!special thanks to Wendy who drove us back to our digs and went way and beyond, we really appreciated it and finished off a fantastic visit to the white horse !cheers to all we meet made our visit very special X Matt, Sophie, Albert and Rondey xx

The Salutation Inn
33 New Rd, LlandeiloThe food,the drink and staff was really good . The rooms was clean but needed upgrading. The only thing is the smell in the rooms!. They know about it because they keep the doors and windows open with unoccupied room. That was really the only negative part on staying there.Parking: Really good parking.

The Torbay Inn
27 Heol Cennen, Ffairfach, LlandeiloWent there tonight after reading the reviews. Didn't disappoint. Ten people in our group and it is rare that we are ALL happy with our food but tonight was one of those occasions.
Absolutely fantastic food and service. Steaks, pasta, gammon, lamb shanks, burger..... all delicious.
And reasonable prices.
100% recommend ?

6 Wellfield Terrace, LlandeiloFriendly service.Well-coordinated employees.Very hot and quite a lot of food per portion.The case itself is not beautiful but extremely practical.Reasonable prices for the food you get.I had chicken and lamb myself. Partner had all kinds of things. We were both satisfied with the preparation.

48 Rhosmaen St, LlandeiloDay 1 - We just had the greatest laugh in the shop, got a couple good recommendations. The who'll team of ladies were amazing.
The food was some of the best fish n chips we'd had. The Irish curry sauce was spot on. ? will eat again from here. Fantastic.
Day 2 - 16/8/25 After not being able to get into the restaurants we wanted, (our fault for not booking) we went back for more at The Chippery! We weren't let down, absolutely fantastic food. Love the cornbeef balls ? thanks again.
Many apologies to the waiting lady I may of accidentally upset with innocence.
I didn't mean to, I hope you had a great evening and have plenty of joyful days ahead.
Look to eating from here again.

The Black Lion Hotel
Llansawel, LlandeiloExcellent! Welcoming hosts & nothing too much trouble. Food & service were amazing! Huge selection on the menu, large portions, excellent value for money, very friendly and welcoming staff, just loved everything about our experience here. We loved it so much, we came back again and it was just as good!! Highly recommend this place, especially the home cooked food.

93 Rhosmaen St, LlandeiloEverything is superb!! Food is amazing but above all, everyone is so friendly :)We have had takeaways here for years and always there's a service with a smile. There are lots of vegetarian options but there's also no problem in turning the meat meals into vegetarian meals. I like extra spice and again there's no problems with adding extra heat to the meals. Portions are also large and price is really good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Diolch Pawb!Vegetarian options: They can make meat dishes vegetarian if you ask.

The Great Wall

Seen bad reviews but in my opinion these people are either too critical or they have massively improved as it was really nice. Sweet and sour chicken balls were super crispy which I love. Chips were soft which might be bad for some people but is perfect for me. Egg fried rice is the normal consistency, could have a tiny bit of more flavour but it was definitely not bad. Chicken noodle soup tasted really good but the noodles were slightly thick. My only criticism was the curry sauce pot which smelt and tasted considerably bad but that might just be preference so I will take that as my own taste. No problem at all with this place though. Definitely deserves a better rating. It is cheap compared to other places and quick service. It is cash only so do remember that
