Awesome chip shop.A bit of a time warp but added to the charm, chips were cooked fresh. The two 'young ladies' serving were chatty and welcoming, even though we were late arriving.Would happily visit here again.
Can't fault the portion sizes or the quality, but my word this took a while. Just 2 people in front of us on a quiet Sunday night and not a single item ready or put in the fryer to anticipate people in the queue behind us. One Sausage, One Cod and a portion of chips, we waited a staggering 30 minutes, which could have easily been halved if there was a small piece of initiative used when looking at the queue forming. I visited as part of a vacation tour across the UK. This was, hands down, the best fish and chips I've ever had. The two sweet ladies who served us were absolutely adorable. The service was friendly and the portions were huge. I highly recommend this shop.
