I have never tasted such an amazing Pork and Apple sausage roll in a of my life, my husband feels the same. 11 out of ten!! Forget Mystic Pizza,, Mystic Gerrards!!! A must visit in Llangollen ♡♡♤◇♧

Have bought numerous loaves of bread here on several visits and have always been treated with friendly courtesy by the staff. The shop is small, but they have a good selection. It's not a reflection on the bakery, but as I live over 40 miles away, I need to make an earlier start as some of the bread is sold out by the time I get there! We called in here one lunchtime whilst caravanning in the area. It's a tiny place, but the pasties are truly excellent. The pastry is like good pastry used to be. It has a sort of glazed look rather the dry crumbly texture you usually get? I had a Cornish pasty or similar and it was the moistest, tastiest pasty I've had in literally years. I'd highly recommend Gerrards for a pasty or pie.
