We ordered a take away for three people and it was ready as soon as we arrived. The mushroom rice, lemon rice and all curry dishes were absolutely delicious ? we had a variety of veggie and meat meals and I can honestly say it was the best curry I've ever had (I'm 54!) Well done Raj mahal !! ?
Walked past the Raj Mahal when wandering round Llanidloes earlier today, smelt so good that we abandoned our planned caravan tea and ordered takeaway for collection later on. Website menu is different and smaller than that advertised at the premises but still a good array. A little milder in spice than our regular Indian at home but very tasty, lovely chunks of chicken tikka in my dopiaza. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his special jalfrezi but again said it was on the milder side...read full review

Got a nice and simple order of Madras and Masala. Can't really go wrong and they were both decent.I ordered for collection at a specific time and it was ready bang on when I arrived which is always good.Kid-friendliness: Offered my son a lollypop when we collected.
