A lovely little cafe with a view of the rest of a delightful town. The food and tea were delicious and the lady running the establishment was friendly and efficient. A warm fire on a wet and windy day was also very welcome.
It's difficult to give this place a rating; much better to describe it as an experience. First off - do not pop in if you need to be guaranteed service there and then. Secondly, do read the menu before entering..... it's the only one there is. The opening hours say it all. This is an establishment which works just fine if you time it right. We did. Lovely quirky place with possibly the best bacon sandwich we've had. It's a one woman show and she also runs the attached post office so a little patience will be required at busy times. When the locals use a place you know it's good ??
