We visited the Pen Cob on Wednesday the 6th of March and I cannot begin to describe the accommodating welcome that we received from one particular member of staff.I believe her name was Charlotte and although we had some of (I'm sure) the most awkward requests both in drinks and food, Charlotte went above and beyond every single time and always has a smile on her face.The food we ordered was exceptional alongside the cocktails and pitchers.We would visit the Pen Cob again based...read full review

It's probably one of the better Wetherspoons I have visited over the years. The food is quickly served, the staff are friendly and the place is clean.The only fault on this occasion was as we just sat down some of the locals in the bar decided to go outside and have a fight. Then they came back in, then a female member of staff told them to go around the corner if they wanted to carry on fighting, so some of them left to do so.Strange to say the least.

I love this branch of Wetherspoon right in the centre of Pwllheli. It's in the town's lovely former commercial centre which dates back from the early 1900s.It's bright/well lit; clean; a nice atmosphere with people from all walks of lives and ages, young and old gathered together.
