We have just been to the cove for tea. My husband had the Seasoned Paprika and Mint Welsh Lamb Rump and I had the chicken tikka flatbread. Food was outstanding. Really enjoyed it. Staff are great and it’s a nice friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be going back there’s lots on the menu that we would like to try.

The Galley Restaurant

Esplanade, Tenby

Stayed for 2 nights at the Belgrave with a group of 30 ladies on a half board basis - there were no complaints from any of our group. The welcome from Max, the owner, was warm and humorous and we really appreciated having our bags carried to our rooms (luggage labels had been sent in advance). The rooms varied in size and not everyone had a great view (some did however) but they were all clean and comfortable. The restaurant and other public areas have been recently and attractively renovated and were very comfortable - we were able to take over one area on the Saturday evening. The food was a revelation - 3 choices for each course - all tasty, hot and generous portions. Breakfast was also good. The renovations haven't yet reached the bedrooms (get rid of the carpet in the bathrooms asap please!), the single lift only goes to midway between floors (the layout of the building probably makes this impossible to change) and some yoghurt and fruit at breakfast would be welcomed but we would not hesitate to recommend the Belgrave for a group such as ours.

Firstly, I would say i am not someone that is impressed easily.. \n\nMy visit on the 4th January 2026 was one of the best meals I have ever had. Restaurant was quiet as expected in January. Food was insanely good. Great wine. Amazing starter, outstanding main followed by a brilliant desert. Couldn't fault it. Excellent.\n\n

Name changed but the food is better than ever the new name Upper Mews Burger Bar the food is fantastic and the staff are still amazing and lovely but the food is just fantastic with great gluten free options and they do takeaway as well I highly recommend to anyone definitely a must visit also try too book in advance to guarantee a table

Absolutely delicious. Hubby and I are both vegan and it’s getting harder to find tasty vegan food when we eat out. It was great to see so many things on a menu that we could eat and we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

I can not recommend this place enough. It was honestly the best tasting restaurant I've ever been to. Me and my partner don't eat out often as we feel let down my most places, but I would drive the 2hour journey just to eat here again. The flavours were outstanding and fhe portion sizes were great and did not leave you feeling hungry. Me, my partner and 2 children all had a different meal and each one was phenomenal. Thank you On George for your brilliant service and excellent food. We will be back

i visited salty’s last week week with my husband and we was greeted by this young nice boy who sat us down and service was amazing a young girl came over too take our order drinks came fast after are food we wanted too sit outside on the beautiful terrace and the young boy sat us down outside and we was having a good conversation he was really chatty and whats good about a restaurant most places the staff look like they dont wanna be there we was really full after the food really nice portion size and we didn’t think we could eat a desert but as soon as the young boy told me about the deserts i couldn’t stop myself and i’m glad they were amazing i had the passion fruit cheese cake my husband had the cheese board i really wish i caught that young boys name will 100% be coming back.

Called in for a drink and decided to stay for lunch. We both had the steak from the lunchtime menu. It came on a sizzling hot plate and had been cooked perfectly. The peas were hot but not overcooked, and the chips were nice too. The pub is different from the others in Tenby and worth a visit. Service is fine, and eventually the person behind the bar cracked a smile, too.

Lovely food and atmosphere - especially the outdoor terrace! The view is absolutely stunning for a first-time tourist.

The staff were incredibly helpful when my phone had no signal and I was trying to find some postcards of Tenby.

I only wish I’d known the salad came with a vinegar dressing, as I prefer without, but that’s just personal taste. The chicken wrap and iced coffee were absolutely amazing.

I’d happily come back anytime & 100% recommend!

Dog friendly cafe with a good range of reasonably-priced food. I had a sausage sandwich which was very tasty and the dog had a sausage off the dog menu which my wife confirmed was equally tasty. They offer cooked breakfast until midday, or a vegan option, plus any other time are sandwiches, bagels, and a good selection of cake. The latte I had was great, and my wife really enjoyed her Welsh rarebit with onion marmalade. They also have a selection of alcohol to warm you up. The service was fast and friendly. The only downside for them is limited seating inside, maybe 7-8 tables. There are some extra tables outside but we went during heavy rain so no one, understandably, was out there. I’d recommend a visit.

I can recommend the sausage rolls - pork, leek and sage. Very tasty! I had it warmed up, beware this makes it very hot. Also ordered a cappuccino, it was very nice but quite small. We chose to take our order away as it felt quite cramped inside. There was no queue when we arrived (around 12.30 on a weekday) but by the time the one member of staff had finished heating our food and drinks there was quite a queue.

Take away only. Great bread and cakes. They have tiny mini version a few doors up but in all honesty it’s too small with only a few seats. Would be better off losing this one and opening one with more seating elsewhere in Tenby. If I was sat inside I’m sure I would spend more as the food was very good

Fab night here with the band last night, very welcoming and chilled environment. Good range of beers on tap, with great service. The band belted out a vast range of songs all of which were great and will defo be back, just need to same the food next time as I could easily make this a regular haunt.

Joe’s Diner

North Walk, Tenby

We visited Joe’s Diner in Tenby on Sunday 29 June. It’s right on the seafront with bar stool seating that looks out over the beach and ocean, which made it a great place to stop for ice cream on a hot afternoon.

There was a good choice of flavours. I went for Biscoff and strawberry cheesecake in a double waffle cone. What I managed to eat was delicious. I was even hoping to find some chocolate at the bottom of the cone, but I’ll never know. A seagull swooped down and stole the whole thing straight out of my hand. So if you take your ice cream onto the beach, keep a close eye on it.

The diner was clean and the service was friendly. The guy behind the counter was good with kids and kept things moving without rushing anyone. For a warm Sunday afternoon, it was not too busy at all.

A lovely little spot for a treat. Just watch out for the locals with wings.

Looking for a tasty lunch in Tenby? Go here. Amazing baguettes that were so reasonably priced considering they were made to order and full of the ingredients. It was a cold day, but the hot pork, stuffing and apple sauce baguettes and bacon, brie and cranberry sauce were absolutely delicious. It was a bonus that our little dog was allowed in too. Staff were really welcoming and friendly as well. Thank you so much, we'll be back!

The Dennis Cafe

This has always been a go to cafe for me. I'm local, so a bit biased. If it's cooked breakfast or a burger. Service is good, food is lush. Ideal for kids and adults alike. If you want lunch or just a brew. The last visit was with three wet and bedraggled dogs. Staff took it all in their stride.
Inside seating for groups of 4, but if in a larger group, that can be accommodated.
Top job guys.

All day breakfast was good and so was the meal our neighbours had for lunch so they told us. Nearly five star but the toast was burnt as it often is in cafes but we were too hungry to object!

After a must visit to Carew castle we visited the Carew Inn for lunch. The staff where rushed off their feet with it being bank holiday weekend today but still lovely, welcoming, fast and friendly. Great homemade tasty food which arrived very quickly considering how busy this place is! The steak and ale pie was delicious. Good to see a couple of gluten free optiond too. Highly reccomended.

Absolutely stunning hotel! This room was booked as a surprise for my 30th and it was so lovely! everything was immaculately clean, very comfy and all the staff were very warm and welcoming.

The only down side I would say was my partner asked for prosecco to be in the room, waiting as a surprise as I entered, he had to go downstairs to ask, he wasn't really happy about this.

Also the cooked breakfast wasn't really nice, everything was cheap which is a disappointment as you're so close to such amazing Welsh produce! I would suggest going elsewhere if you like a breakfast.

Other than that it was a lovely stay and outstanding views
