Having a baker of this calibre in our little market town must be helping everyone’s house prices are for that alone I give them 5 stars ?. However in all seriousness this bakery is absolutely incredible, I just can’t fault anything they produce; I’m just in awe of the talent. If anything it puts me in a quandary between wanting them to expand their offering but at the same time wanting it to stay a local treasure. Brilliant. Had a great day on Nelson's pastry themed day. Nelson was very skilled and knowledgeable, demonstrating techniques and recipes to the small group and guiding us as we got hands on in making a range of pastry products. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will book on more courses.

I'm not usually lucky enough to catch Nelsons open after a bake, but yesterday I was...Oh my God! The sour dough loaf, sausage roll and pain au chocolat were out of this world! Really, really good.Thank you.
