We love this traditional pub. We went again on Sunday before we took our dog for a walk along the canal towpath, we eat before we walk as the portions are so good you need to walk it off ?. I had the chicken Sunday dinner ? and my husband and daughter had other food from the menu, and there is plenty to choose from. We recently visited The 2 Boats with our family from a canal boat holiday. We visited in 2010 when our kids were much smaller and were so impressed we wanted to come back again in Oct 2023.What a lovely place! The food was excellent, Emma the bar lady was so friendly and helpful and the pub has kept its pub like atmosphere which is rare now. Recently spent a week on a narrowboat on the Warwickshire Ring with a girlfriend from 50 + years ago. In July we got back in touch with each other for the first time since 1969! We had the good fortune to discover this wonderful pub and visited it four times. It's a lovely pub run and staffed by lovely people. Five stars for everything. Highly recommended.
