Decent pub on the corner of a busy road junction. The horseshoes benefits from having a car park access directly off the main road. Good selection of real ale, most of which are from Everards brewery. Ale priced at £5 per pint and was in good condition. The bar area is cosy, and there is a decent sized beer garden at the rear off the car park. There are occasional events in a marquee in the beer garden, such as a sausage and cider festival in high summer.

Jon and his team at Anthonys Catering went above and beyond with the food for our wedding. We chose a BBQ for the daytime and mini fish n chips, mini chicken gougon n chips and pizza's for the evening. So much food, all cooked beautifully, we had so many comments on how great the food was. Stayed for one night as racing nearby, extremely comfortable rooms and room we stayed in was well equipped and a very good size. Staff all very friendly and accommodating and breakfast was all good quality products and very tasty. Would definitely stay again

It’s been a while since I was last here, not sure why it’s taken so long to return, as the food is outstanding, a bit on the ala carte side, do order extra veg/ sides if you are hungry. The place itself is kept to a high standard , the decor is lovely and welcoming. it was nice where we sat , we could see the sunset at the old church, and the staff very friendly and helpful, a big bonus we visited on a Monday, not many nice places open on a Monday , although I can imagine it’s busy any day , I would recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment

Centrally located in Nuneaton on Abbey Street is this super little Gurkha restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent. The Moma C starter was delicious, the complimentary poppadom very welcome. We are vegetarians and had lots to choose from. We had the paneer and the Gurkha Dhal, delicious. All very reasonably priced. We were impressed.

Our third visit to The Agra Palace, and again, we were not disappointed. You are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome before being shown to your table. Drinks were ordered and arrived at the table in a timely manner. You are then left alone to peruse the extensive menu. Any questions you may have about a particular dish or a dish you are not familiar with are soon explained by any member of the highly knowledgeable staff.\nTalking of which, I would challenge anyone to find warmer or more friendlier staff anywhere else. They are so friendly and helpful, it's a joy to be in their restaurant.\nOnce the food was ordered, we just sat back and got into the freshest poppadoms I have ever tasted. The onions, mango chutney, and minted yohurt were fresh and came in generous portions. \nOur starters arrived, and we're presented beautifully. A joy to eat with your eyes and then, of course, your mouth. Beautiful chops for me and chat puree for my wife. \nMains came on time and were again beautifully presented and piping hot. The lamb Pakwan I had was gorgeous, as was the tikka rice. My wife had the Rezella and was knocked out by the flavours this dish offered.\nDespite just how busy it gets in the Agra Palace, the staff are on it, as are the chefs and kitchen staff. You never have to wait too long for your food.\nWe were looked after on this trip by Naz Junior, who is so friendly yet remained very professional throughout our evening. His voice is made of velvet, so much so that if he just read the menu to you, your pallet would be satisfied.\nYou really should give this place a go as I am sure you will not be disappointed. A few words of advice, though.... book before you go as the Agra is always but always busy.\nIf I could give this place 11 out of 10, I most certainly would.\nThis beautiful restaurant is bedecked with comfy chairs and modern decor making for a very cosy and enjoyable environment. The music IS BACKGROUND music. Therefore, people don't have to shout over it to be heard. \nWell done to all the management and staff at the Agra Palce. You should be very proud of your little gem of a restaurant in Nuneaton. I can't thank or praise you enough as you have it just about perfect.

What can i say... This is the best food spot imo in nuneaton, I usually get 2 14 inch pizzas with stuffed crust, chicken tikka, green chilli and mushrooms. Ive had their donner which is amazing constantly, their chips are outstanding and their burgers aren't even bad at all, this food is a gem in nuneaton compared to the others e.g city pizza, jaffas, red roosters and definetly queens grill. Will be going here only from now on and their food is always perfect I would always recommend this to anyone in nuneaton.

We visited these guys to attend Mearfest in Queens Hall upstairs.
It's a proper cool rock bar with some amazing pictures and guitars from some top rock bods, adorning the walls and ceilings.
We also got to watch the fab England Women's Rugby between bands.
Great staff, decent enough prices and there were live bands on the both nights that we visited.
I'm definitely visiting these guys again the next time I'm in Nuneaton.

This place needs more people visit. Lovely food. Omg not disappointed. Im a lover of Italian food ?. I get very fed up of the high street chain restaurants saying there Italian. This place is authentic and the better for it. Yes its a lil cheesey with the music. But the server was nice and polite, shy even. The wine it good and each dish is perfection. Good support them. Not a burger in sight.
