Found this little gem whilst doing my food shop. Lush brekkie! I don't generally like bacon, but loved it today. The sausage was perfectly cooked, the toasted bloomer was lush. Just the right amount and fairly priced for the quality

The Wild Boar

Small but beautiful..excellent selection of beers .White wine served at my wife's temperature (very cold) Small selection of food available..but excellent the batter on my fish n chips was so light n crispy.. (tempura??).my wife's food was also v good and at an affordable price...Will definitely return..well done to all ...do well!!

Woodloes Tavern

Well worth the walk from the canal at Cape.
On first impressions we were not sure about this pub, but it turned out to be really good. Great range of drinks, good price, friendly and efficient staff, and very welcoming locals. Great pub with a big community spirit.

Tilted Wig

Came into the Wig today for a breakfast before work with some colleagues and the breakfast was delicious!
We normally come in for meals in the evening or after work bevs but thought to try the breakfast and low and behold we weren’t disappointed!

We will definitely be back again and would recommend!

Great place to be under new management ? friendly pub football ⚽️ on TV what more could you ask for .
The closest pub to the racecourse.
Give it a try and you always come back.

I've recently moved to the the area and this is now my local. I've only been in a few times so far, but it's a really nice little pub from what I've seen so far. Only reason for 4 stars is would nice to be a little busier as very quiet even on the weekends

We had a 80th birthday party/ wedding party
On the 18th april we had our celebrations..starting with a Meal at lunch and carrying on into evening with a buffet ..the staff were friendly and helpful at all times the food was exceptional we had a lot of comments too about how good the food was from our guests we had a fantastic day/evening .would definitely be going back and would definitely recommend..

Vivaanta Indian Restaurant & Bar

Had a fantastic meal here,the food was excellent, great quality and the portions were more than enough.
But the added bonus was the professionalism,and interaction with all the staff who conversed with us and had a laugh with us bringing a real human touch to our evening, would definitely recommend and we will be coming back from Birmingham to enjoy this service again.
