Goldicote Rd, Loxley, WarwickGem of a community pub saved by the locals of Loxley, and others, keeping the heart of the village alive. Lovely meals served (Steak and Kidney Suet Pudding & Fisherman's Pie) with plenty of vegetables and a very tasty real ale (Falstaff's Folly). Best bit was the locals and management had a chat so a very warm welcome. Almost forgot, it's very dog friendly!

Touchdown cafe
Airfield Estate, Loxley Rd, Wellesbourne, WarwickBoth my girlfriend and I are aviation buffs so having a cooked breakfast here was a great way to start her birthday a couple of weeks ago. Great food, good atmosphere and a 'classic' aviation atmosphere.

The King's Head
Warwick Rd, Wellesbourne, WarwickRoom comfortable though there are a lot of steps/stairs to consider if you are not able-bodied.The evening meal was excellent and our server Kirsty was extremely pleasant and helpful.

1 Chestnut Square, Wellesbourne, WarwickCalled to see if they did takeaway as I really fancied pie n mash but didn't want to sit in the pub by myself. They told they didn't have a suitable takeaway container for pie n mash.... I could have something else or eat in..... oh I said.... they then came back with bring your own plate!!!!So glad I did. BEST PIE & MASH. Veg cooked well, beef melts in your mouth and the mash is so creamy!!!!I will be coming back with my own takeaway box!!!! 100% worth every penny!Food & drinks: Amazing ?

The Garden Shed Cafe
2 Newbold Rd, Wellesbourne, WarwickLove the coffee and cakes here. We use this place regularly for a stop off when on our bikes at the weekend. There's dedicated bike racks and always a friendly face.
