We stayed at the Black Horse for a weekend and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was immaculate and the decor was comfortable and stylish. The bar staff were helpful and friendly, as was the lady who took our booking through air bnb. We hope to be back soon! ?
The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotless, not only this but one of the comfiest beds I have ever stayed in. The pub itself is one of the finer country pubs in the area boasting a cosy interior brimming with character, an excellent and ever changing beer selection, and a surprisingly large garden. A genuinely pleasurable venue to spend a summer afternoon or winter evening alike.

Just moved into the area and I think we’ve found our local. Lovely village pub, refurbished yet maintaining a traditional feel. Met Gerry one of the owners / landlord and a really lovely chap, very welcoming! The place clearly attracts the locals but again the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Don’t think they do food yet, but the choice of bar snacks were spot on. Will be visiting again very very soon!
