Last drank here 45yrs ago when it was called the "George" by regulars, it's now the Pig and Tail and wow what a change , used to be a dark damp sawdust floored over partitioned boozer, now it's lovely and bright but retains lots of period features , never appreciated how nice the stained glass windows were. Lots of different beers , cocktails, teas and coffees, had a burger and fries and it was so good, very friendly staff and just a really cool place to be...not waiting another...read full review

I hired the Pig & Tail out for my boyfriend's 30th birthday, and it was genuinely the best decision ever. Everything from the food, the service, the venue, to the help in organising from the owner Mark was absolutely incredible. The venue is such a beautiful space, and the staff so friendly and helpful. Went with a friend to get Mexican food for the last week of the tierrataco pop up, had their food before at their own restaurant and love it so was excited to take a friend as Pig and Tail is a lovely building. There was a young woman working on the bar with dark hair and a European accent who didn’t greet us or smile while we were waiting to be seated, and she was unfriendly and close to rude all night.
