My friends and I popped in for a drink before we caught the bus back to Birmingham. A lovely pub, good atmosphere and it was packed even at 4.30 on a Saturday afternoon. There was a little Christmas market opposite with an amazing fibre optic Christmas tree there.Coventry is a very lovely little City, lots of history and the old cathedral ruins which were bombed in WW11. Still beautiful and you can wander around it.
Typical Wetherspoons with comfortable interior and upstairs. Usual Wetherspoons food menu at good prices and usually a good range of real ales. Can be very busy midday and evening with students at Coventry University.

Great fast efficient service only real issue was that the staff member bring the food out did inform us that the food was very hot and to beware.... sadly not an issue as it was nearly cold. Otherwise fairly standard fare.
