Whilst we had a lovely evening, I wouldn't rush back. I was gutted the fish pie, which was divine, and was no longer on the menu. The food was average and didn't reflect well on the prices charged. If I compare it to the Malt Shovel or the lovely pubs at similar pricing, it wouldn't fare well. A real shame as the owners are lovely, warm, and welcoming. Just need a number of tweaks to get it up to standard.
First visit for sometime. Enjoyed the bread oils and olives with roasted garlic. Steak excellent, fantastic chips. Lovely ice cream. Wine fairly priced and great flavours. Will be going back
