Wow what a find. Definitely one for the foodies! We swung by here on our way home and so glad we did. They managed to squeeze us in but recommend you book. The staff are great- attentive and quick. The landlord welcomed us in and made sure we were looked after. The pub itself is actually an eatery not a standard pub. They have huge fire places with real open fires and stoves. First visit after 30 year gap. Still easy to find and parking excellent. Food very good and were I not driving I would have sampled from the excellent range of beers available. The dining room is quite large. Choose a table in the bar area for a little more atmosphere. Dog friendly and definitely customer friendly!

Had a great evening here with friends. The food was excellent and the service was top notch...nothing was too much trouble. Although the restaurant was full and busy, there was a friendly atmosphere...
