There was plenty of food. It wasn’t unpleasant but also wasn’t fantastic. The wellington was different in taste. The pub itself is good, the staff friendly and helpful, the food was ok, just didn’t leave with a wow factor
I visited here today for the first time with a group of friends (we had been staying at the local Butlins resort as part of a hen party) and honestly, I couldn't recommend it more! We all had the roast dinner followed by pudding (crumble for me) and it was absolutely delicious. The owner was so helpful too and made us feel really welcome through out.The Fox is truly a gem and somewhere you won't regret visiting :)

We were visiting Butlin's for the weekend, but wanted to escape for a couple of hours for Sunday lunch. Decided to go to The Fox after a local recommendation and we weren't disappointed. The roast beef was excellent, as were the accompanying veg, all perfectly cooked. Generous portions and delicious, can't wait to return next year. A decent pint too and the staff were also great. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.
