Well, what a surprise this was. The Watermill is our local pub, just across the road from our house. We go there for drinks occasionally and said we would try the food sometime. Yesterday, Friday 18th August, we trotted on over and ordered food for the first time. I had the cheese burger and fries while my wife had the mushroom butter masala. The food was amazing. I am local and haven't been in the Watermill pub for years. I didn't know that they did food. Went for lunch with a friend today. Nice atmosphere but this was weekday lunchtime. I assume in the evening it would be much more lively as very much a sports pub? Have redecorated inside. Polite publican. Compliments to the chef though! Chicken korma was delicious. New chef serves fantastic pub favourites but what is even more special is the amazing Indian dishes - home made authentically with care. Pub immaculate as always - dog and family friendly. Real asset to the local community. Hope you keep going from strength to strength
