This was our first visit and initial impressed by the interior. Sat at table-menu was grubby. We ordered Eggs Benedict and a pot of Tea. Meal rather cold as hollandaise was cold. Pot of tea good, but no tea spoon or cutlery, which was eventual bought but desert spoons to stir our tea, I had to get tea spoons from counter. Pot for cutlery and serviettes on table but empty. Well done to Rachel & Jake who were holding the fort today. I went in for brunch and to write using a laptop. It was quiet so I thought it would be just the right place to sit for a bit. I ordered an all day breakfast and pot of tea. Half the seating was closed because there were only 2 staff. Fair enough and good for them as things got busy pretty soon after that! Lovely friendly cafe with the best cakes! Plentiful comfortable range of seating. Very reasonable prices. Extremely lovely staff. Totally recommend this cafe for a quick snack or a drink. You won't be disappointed.
