Nice restaurant with lots of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and showed us to our table. Menu had a good variety with lots of options and a couple of vegetarian options plus a "Specials" board with other options. Also prepared to switch starters up to mains. Extensive wine list but, and this the only thing letting it down - was the lack of beer choices. Otherwise great and very recommended.
We were here for a family lunch, and couldn't fault it. The waiting staff were lovely, and the food absolutely delicious. I had the ricotta & spinach canneloni with garlic bread and a lovely crisp side salad.Would definitely recommend!

Just had a beautiful meal at the walnut tree. Seven of us ate here and the food was beautifully cooked. The camenbert with crusty bread was delicious and enough for 2 to be honest. The steak in the steak and kidney pie was tender and melted in the mouth. A true culinary experance, in a wonderfully atmospheric place, with very attentive staff
