We came here as it was my dads birthday so in memory of my dad we came here. The food was excellent. We had a lovely waiter whose name was Rebecca she asked us about allergies. We had no allergies.

We had not been to this establishment to eat for sometime mainly due to the well below par experience in 2019 which I commented upon here on Tripadvisor at the time. We decided to try again after receiving a voucher and glad we did as the service was excellent from the time we stepped into the reception area by the young lady who greeted us with Ollie attending to us thereafter. Compliments to the chief as well loverly staff. The food was so well presented, soup of the day lush and the honey pot sweet,so well presentation 10/10 taste absolutely yummy. My friend had a well presented pizza, not with a thick filling crust and not one crum left. Deffinatly will bring my family here. The Friar Oak, is so clean and spacious, with the added touch of a log fire. Totally recommend this place ? %
