This place is amazing for those allergies. I’ve got quite a severe gluten allergy, and often get sick even from oil that has had gluten items fried in previously! I am used to not being able to eat anywhere but home, but was astonished to discover that the chips were not only gluten free but in an all GF fryer! We are regulars at Sam's..very good portions, fresh from the fryer, polite friendly staff, spotlessly clean and always busy. Take cash as well as cards and you can eat in. You can ring up and order or go online. Our favourite is cod n chips takeaway and very much needed at our end of town.
Ordered a large grilled haddock and small chips and it was amazing.Fish was seasoned well and was flaky, ripping straight off the skin. Chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, really good chilli sauce as well.Not only was it delicious but good value as well coming it at £13.50 for enough food for two.
