My partner and I were travelling along the A272 and looking for somewhere to have lunch when we spotted a sign to the Hare and Hounds and decided to take a look. We found a nice quiet little pub with friendly staff and an excellent lunch deal at a reasonable price. My partner decided to have the Prawn Cocktail as a starter and said that it was probably the best one she'd ever had. We haven't been to The Hare & Hounds before. Great lunch at a very reasonable price. The lady that served us was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend.

Ate at lunchtime. Good pub food although my dish had all the ingredients for the promised bubble and squeak, they had just not been cooked together. Pleasant outdoor area. Friendly staff.Parking: Parking for 10 cars
