Fabulous staff, great food. Wonderful service, especially by the manageress. I saw one reviewer mentioned the tattooed staff - I hardly think that is relevant and actually rather ignorant. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
I booked a table for my walking group of 13 people and we all had a roast dinner. This is one of the best roasts I have had for a long time. I had the pork belly and it was succulent and the crackling was amazing. We did order a few extra sides so it is on the higher end of costs for a pub roast dinner but I don't mind paying a bit more when the food is as delicious as this. A group of 17 of us met for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our family had travelled an hour from all directions (one was 3 hours) and they all loved it - well worth the journey and would love to return.
