We had the most delicious, well cooked, hot and tasty Sunday roast at the Half Moon. The welcome into this pub is the warmest, kindest and most sincere we’ve experienced for a long time. The wine is very good value and tastes good. Above all the food is excellent. The portion is huge, with a fantastic selection of vegetables all included. The meat is good quality and the Chef is very happy to accommodate dietary requirements and restrictions. All in all a very happy Sunday lunch!...read full review

Follow Mr & Mrs R on TikTok.When you see the sign that reads “Big Sunday Roasts” You better believe it, they are big and there’s plenty of vegetables (cooked to perfection) and what’s more the staff are very friendly and the beer tastes great!

Stopped here for quick grab on my journey and found nice little gem. Very cosy pub with amazing outdoor seating options. Friendly staff (Ethan), who recommended pork belly bites starter, which was absolutely amazing. £8 for starter and £3 for half pint of cider.
