As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by bar staff. A great choice of beers and 2 of my favourite lagers on sale. Everything was explained, how to order food etc. We sat in the garden, and what a great place to be. Even an outside bar for their busy entertainment evenings. Seating for probably around 100 outside. But the best highlight was the food. Just a simple sandwich, Brie, bacon and caramelised red onion on toasted bread. It was brilliant! Visited this pub yesterday. Very nice place. Very friendly staff. Great garden to drink outside in which is also very dog friendly. Now as for the pizzas......man were they good! Very well made and excellently priced. We'd been travelling through the Downs and stopped here on our way home. Would highly recommend all round.

Stopped off for lunch after a walk. They only had pizzas, which was a bit disappointing until they arrived at our table. They were delicious and I'd definitely go back and have another one!!
