Popped in on spec in the week before Christmas, so pretty busy on the but we were found a table ( just the two of us) and told we might have to wait a while as they were so busy, but drinks came quickly, food order taken quickly too and with hardly enough time to quaff the first pint, there was the food order! Super friendly greeting on arrival ambiance is perfect , service is superb , food Wow ! Truffle infused risotto as a starter ! Calves liver as a main all superb ? Only thing I disliked was leaving !!!!

Stopped off for Sunday lunch. Was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked beef, accompanied by a generous assortment of veg. Gravy was a little bit too runny, but overall very enjoyable.Service was friendly and efficient.
