Had Sunday lunchThe food was excellent, although the service was a bit slow. Landlord apologised and explained that it was a warm day and there was an unexpected number of walk-in customers.Will be going back soonWell done

Dreary Sunday in late November, driving through Sussex lanes. Passing this lovely looking inn, so stopped for a pint. Wonderful smell of Sunday roast and gave it a try. Great decision made. Plates loaded with lovely cooked veg and meat. Cauliflower cheese to die for. The day ended there, Deserts, haven't got a clue, couldn't manage one, as roast meals were absolutely fantastic. My friend and I went to lunch at the Punchbowl Inn and it was a lovely experience. It is a old pub with great atmosphere, you can eat both inside and outside. We had Scampi and the Beef Burger both were delicious. We were served by Tracy who must have walked miles while we were having our meal she was courteous, friendly and definitely deserves a Huge Thank You. We will definitely be going back.
