We came here as a party of 5 to get some lunch on the Friday before the new year (so late December some time!). The pub itself is beautiful and is a real cosy winter pub with open fires and lovely interior. We loved the vintage theme. The waitress was fantastic and very attentive, allowing us to have a tab and bringing drinks over to our table. There is no other pub that quite captures the same charm as the gunn. Stunning old property. The staff are always quick, super friendly landlady, always working hard.I've eaten here many a time and am always impressed by the menu. They clearly use good chefs that know how to be creative. A pretty good roast dinner on a Sunday also.I always feel lucky to spend time at the gunn. Great team making the place what it is.

Just a great place in a great area. Staff are super friendly. Beware.... It can get very busy, however, they deal with it very well. AAA+++++Vegetarian options: Love the vegi options.
