Spotlessly clean, even the carpets. Superbly friendly owners. Not officially a real ale pub as generally cater for draught lager/cider; BUT the two handpulled pumps they do have usually have locals brews served perfect! Timothy Taylor's Landlord currently here, beautiful pint at only £3.40. #HowDoTheyDoIt ??

A very friendly pub in the village of Thornton. Moved here a few weeks ago after 40 years away. Great atmosphere in the evening. Person behind the bar was experienced as knew who to serve next. Will become my local for sure well done
