Whilst in Halifax for a gig at the Piece Hall, we stayed next door to the pub in Grey Tower apartments. Called in here around 2pm. Only a few people in, hubby had a pint of Neck oil which he said was very nice. I had a glass of prosecco..very nice too. Reasonable prices - £4.00 per drink. We called in after the gig, the place was chockablock, there was a singer on for the landlady's birthday. Very busy with people dancing & singing . Very friendly bar staff & customers alike.

A small, local pub with a covered outdoor seating as well as large-screen projector inside.I only order Coca-Cola but the general appearance of the venue was clean and tidy, if busy from the large gathering of regulars (so I'm not the only one who thinks it's nice). The service speed at the bar was surprisingly fast though.

Is this the fabled haunt of Steve Barnes and Peter Penrice? Perhaps, although I was unable to see the latter arriving from the window. Visibility aside, staff at The Feathers provide a service fit for Sir Lawrence, whether your tipple of choice is Best Bitter or calming Chamomile.
