“Very pleasant staff , friendly and helpful . The food was delicious ( especially the “special” pork belly with two veg ) and our friends enjoyed their fish dishes ( haddock and chips and a tasty trout dish) . There was a good wine list as well. On the minus side, we had to wait 35 minutes for our main course and since we hadn’t ordered a starter, we were a bit annoyed. Three of us ordered dessert; the winner was the strawberry Eton mess.”
