nice location in the canal wharf. Ideal for a nice walk by the CanalReturned to The Moorings today having visited previously for a drink.Decided to have a meal this time. A beef yorkie wrap,mixed grill and a Sunday roast were all very nice! The lovely lady who served at the bar and bringing food was attentive and very friendly whilst working very hard,nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back. A++++
I've called in a couple of times recently with dog and child as part of an afternoon walk along the canal path. They let dogs in, the staff are friendly and the cheeseburger really hits the spot. They do their own session beer as well which is very drinkable.Parking: Loads of parking directly oppositeKid-friendliness: Little colouring sheets are available to help entertain smaller ones

Table 5 has the best view in the pub across the canal. Lovely inside. Ordered some pale ale which was lovely, plus some chips which had been cooked 3 or 4 times over. Lovely atmosphere.Popped back in March 2024. Busy Easter weekend. Food okay. Good selection of drinks.
