We were in Ilkley for a special celebration and headed for the Toast House as we had had a wonderful meal there some months back. We were not disappointed, we were welcomed by an amazing team of delightful ladies who made us feel very comfortable. I had the best scrambled eggs on toast ever! Homebaked bread with real butter pilled high with creamy scrambled eggs.(even though brunch service had officially finished! shhhhh!) Was here today with the lovely Ursula and our son Bill. Lovely little spot with character, some repurposed furniture which is really cute. Staff are a delight, so pleasant. We had their special scrambled egg on sourdough and it was absolutely smashing! Coffees were great too and good value all round. Highly recommended

Great little place, with emphasis on toast or toast based food. I and my brother ordered toasted fruit bread and it was fantastic; the butter was allowed to melt into the bread before it was served (please note: this is exactly how a fruit tea cake should be served). So good, in fact, we repeated our order. Good range of teas and coffee and really friendly service. ??
