A lovely 18th birthday celebration for my grandson. The free olives and garlic bread were great, so don't order a starter as well, unless you are very hungry. My starter was scallops and belly pork, very generous portion and very tasty. I didn't fully appreciate my seafood pizza, because it was a bit too spicy hot, which I didn't expect, (probably missed that fact on the menu). We’ve visited a few times for lunch and have tried a variety of things on the menu from the mushroom and bruschetta starters through to pasta, pizza and chicken dishes. This is an authentic Italian restaurant and the food is absolutely delicious! Freshly made, beautiful flavours and excellent service from the staff. It's not a cosy romantic venue, more of a staff canteen, but the food is excellent and the people are friendly and efficient. In these days of chain eateries (I won't ever call Bella Pasta or Zizzi's a restaurant) it is so nice to have Italian food that wasn't boiled in the bag. If you want to eat well and talk to people I'd highly recommend it.
