Went here for Sunday lunch but found it disappointing. The soup was delicious but a small portion. The main was luke warm - this was really annoying because we waited 25 mins and it wasn’t very busy. Cold Yorkshire puddings are not very appetising. It was however very good of the staff to knock off the price of 2 drinks by way of an apology. Tbh I would rather restaurants did not have to constantly apologise for poor service and food - I would rather pay and have a decent Sunday...read full review

Very glad to report an excellent roast dinner experience (Easter Sunday).I tend to be sceptical of going out for a roast, but I was really knocked out by the food here.The starter was lovely (haddock croquet) and every component of the roast dinner was done to perfection.I really hope they keep up this food standard because food like that is genuinely thrilling.
