Called in a couple of times for a quick pint after going out for an evening meal so can't say anything about food. The biggest letdown with this pub..and always has been is the staff or should I lack of staff. Saturday night... Great band on...1 maybe 2 serving. Sometimes it's packed..the staff have no idea who's next to serve. 1 night, we stood 20 minutes waiting... Needless to say, we left. Get your staffing levels right, and maybe your takings would be higher.
Randomly chose this place for Sunday lunch for 5. The lady on the phone very politely told me that it would be very busy as a Leeds United game would be on the big screens, However, she said that if we'd care to come after 4pm it be a bit quieter. Can't imagine what it was like when the game was on (Leeds lost), but it was still heaving with fans, drinkers, kids and dogs, but we were served very quickly, shown to our table and the food arrived in no time.
